From Easter Island to Tucson was a series of flights, a stopover for
a few days in Albuquerque (where I'd left my car), and a drive home
through western New Mexico and eastern Arizona.
It was a low-key end to a fantastic trip.

US highway 60 crosses the Salt River Canyon between Show Low and Globe, Arizona... not far north of my home in Tucson. It's a spectacular place on a drive with lots of variety: from evergreen forest to desert valleys: |
